Update!

Well, I know it's been a fair while since I posted anything, but real life got in the way...
Recently I've been getting back into study and really enjoying this half of the degree so far, having only subjects I've selected goes a long way to staying motivated in the projects set!

As usual, I've been spending my time in between classes heading on down to Games Workshop for a little social interaction and light paint work. This means nothing "showy" has had any attention, but the Thousand sons have been slowly worked on.

So without further ramblings, here's the new Dreadnought, finished in so far as I could be bothered for now. I may go back and add some freehand stuff, but that's a way off I think, not even sure if this highly detailed model would actually benefit from more business...

I've also based the Predator, because I just like the look, short tanks don't do it for me and with everything else in the army raised about a quarter inch I figured why not my vehicles?

Finally I figured I should include a group shot of the lot of them:

I'll try and get more updates in as the year progresses, it's unusual for me to not have any hobby related stuff on the run, so it's just a matter of me taking the time to post something really, hope you like :)

Weekend workings, back to old projects

having attended a OzPainters workshop on the weekend passed, I thought I'd post an update on a long in progress figure. This is a Goblin hero from the avatar of war range, not a bad little figure and has been a joy to paint, heaps of little bits of detail and the figure is very neatly cast, not too many issues cleaning him up for paint.

Still have a few hours work to go on him, need to finish off the metals and paint the severed heads and a few other details, thinking of adding pupils as well.

Welcome!

Hi all, welcome to the first of hopefully many posts about my life in miniature. This is where you will all see progress on my various miniature projects before anywhere else, particularly if models are intended for competition.
I hope you all enjoy and take some inspiration from my personal journey as a painter, best luck in your own endeavors and please, always feel free to contact me regarding questions of any sort regarding the hobby.
